Sherman Specialty Company, Inc was established in 1950 by Paul Sherman as a provider of toys and novelties for dental and medical professionals. Using knowledge and experience in merchandising, sourcing and importing, the dental and medical business developed beyond the two man operation and staff and facilities were added.

     While maintaining a leadership position in the dental retail market for giveaways and novelties, the company began expanding in other markets. In 1955, using its skills in importing, Sherman Specialty began supplying restaurants with crayons and novelty giveaways. In the 50+ years as a supplier to restaurants, the company has sold over a trillion crayons.

     Further leveraging company skills in merchandising and importing, the company began serving the entertainment industry in 1981, supplying party planners and entertainers with fun, giveaway items used at parties and events. Sherman Specialty continues to be a leader and top 3 supplier to entertainment companies across the country.

     With decades of experience serving professional and wholesale markets, the company targeted the retail market for party supplies as a growth area. The 4FunParties.com party store was launched in 1998.  The company continues to supply over 6,000 party supplies items to consumers.

     With a 100,000 square foot distribution center and print operation and over 70 employees, the still family-owned business continues to serve these wholesale and retail markets.
